Rabbit, Rabbit!

On the first of the month, my husband calls his mum in Wales and shouts "Fat Rabbit."

From what I could glean from the Internet gods, it is an old English superstition that yelling "Rabbit, Rabbit" on the first ensures good luck. I haven't seen anything on the web mentioning a variation describing the lagomorph as plump - but as you can see, I did discover the word "lagomorph," which is what rabbits are (and all this time, I thought they were rodents).

It must be a Welsh rabbit thing.

At any rate, I'm beginning this month with a rush job for a new client... plus a new project I've taken on for the MOMocrats (more on that below).

I may not be posting much over the next couple of weeks - but I'm really happy to be so busy on activities that are going to be kind of fun.
