Year after year, millions of people make New Year's Resolutions and most of the time those resolutions are made knowing they'll most likely be broken. From losing weight, to paying off debt, to planning vacations, and quitting smoking or other bad habits, it seems like the resolution making process is the same song and dance for just about everyone. Experts say, some resolution-makers last a week keeping their New Year's resolutions, and some stick it out all the way to Feb. 1, but very few manage to achieve their goal.
At my age (going on 54!!) this is something I've stopped doing. You can find out why over at 50-Something and Los Angeles Moms blog.

Also, there will be a Twitter party on the subject on Wednesday, January 20 at 9:00 PM EST. I am going to try to be there - I hope you will, too. Hashtag: #newyearsresolution
