Hey! I'm giving away a Superbowl Party pack (valued at $250) over at SoCal Stuff. Find out what's in the pack and how to win it here.
I'm moving slowly today and am not sure why.
Could it be that today is Martin Luther King Day and I'm all alone? My husband doesn't have the day off and my daughter spent the night with friends at the beach. I've been complaining since we got back from NorCal that I've got a zillion blog posts in the works and NO TIME to finish them. I got up early intending to cross a bunch of them off the list.
I've done nothing.
Most days, a morning to myself with no place to be would result in a burst of creative energy.
But today? Nada.
And from reading my last several posts, I'd say I haven't had much energy - creative or otherwise - in a very long time.
I'm not sure why I'm in this drab little funk, but I've lived long enough to know that this is a cyclical thing. It will pass, I will get my mojo back (or whatever you want to call it) and when that happens, I'll start all over, with energy and pizzazz.
In the meantime, I probably just have to let this ride.
So I will leave you with a few photos I took yesterday on the beach in Malibu. (Yes, I am guilty of tweeting the phrase "eat your heart out" about the beautiful 73 degree weather depicted here. I'm sorry. I could not help myself.)
