Belzer: I think that I learned a long time ago if you're in a church or home you don't do certain things, If the philosophy is not to offend, I don't think this hurts the show. Carlin's use of language so vast and compelling, a few bleeps might be enticing.
FCC will come down on you badly.

I have more. A lot more. I may even include video I shot of the panel (But I may not. The meager 3x zoom on the Flip means that they look like ants on stage. However, I am hoping the camcorder picked up the entirety of their fascinating discussion.) PLUS, I watched the entire program on the DVD the folks at PBS kindly distributed to the journalists (and bloggers) in ENORMOUS swag bags.
So I hope to post the rest today. But it may be a while before I get to it, even if I'm not attending the SECOND day of the PBS Media Tour. You see, Megan is still on winter break (goes back on MONDAY), so I left her with my friend Mary Ellen for 14 HOURS yesterday (including the 5-9 period she and ME's daughter are in gymnastics - and then the drive home). Can't do that another day. Also, must spend quality time with daughter today...
...but she has gym again and I'm driving her, so there's some opportunity...
