My sister sent this link to me -- get a load of what was featured in this weekend's New York Times Travel section. Apparently, the San Fernando Valley is becoming a cool place to visit (figuratively speaking, of course. It was 107 on Friday.)
The photo in the article is priceless -- I have been going to that mini-mall since the La Reina storefront was a real movie theater.
