Well, Gareth and Mark took all the kids, so now Linda and I (and Kaitlin, Carly's friend who surprisingly opted to stick around here!) have had the house to ourselves. While I've been blogging (you have no idea how good it feels to get back to this after such a long layoff; I wish Gareth understood it more), Kaitlyn has been working on her college admissions essay and Linda is also getting some work done.
Linda also decided to bring out the snacks, break open the liquor cabinet (we are enjoying Cape Cods, while Kaitlyn sips a Sierra Mist), build a fire and rent a chick flick. This is turning into my idea of a perfect day...
